The Mouse CD183 (CXCR3) Monoclonal Antibody PE-Cyanine5 Conjugated (CXCR3-173) is a powerful tool for researchers studying the CXCR3 protein, a chemokine receptor involved in immune responses and inflammation. This antibody, derived from mouse origin, exhibits high specificity and sensitivity for detecting CXCR3 in various cell types. Validated for use in flow cytometry applications, it enables precise analysis and quantification of CXCR3 expression levels.CXCR3, a receptor for the chemokines CXCL9, CXCL10, and CXCL11, plays a crucial role in directing immune cell trafficking and activation during inflammatory responses.
Its dysregulation has been implicated in various diseases, including autoimmune disorders, viral infections, and cancer. Understanding the expression and functions of CXCR3 is essential for unraveling its complex roles in immune modulation and disease pathogenesis.By utilizing the Mouse CD183 (CXCR3) Monoclonal Antibody PE-Cyanine5 Conjugated (CXCR3-173), researchers can delve deeper into the intricate mechanisms involving CXCR3, paving the way for innovative therapeutic approaches targeting immune responses and inflammatory conditions.

Background:
CD183/CXCR3, also known as CXCR3, is a member of the C-X-C chemokine family, characterized by a pair of cysteine residues separated by a single amino acid. CXCR3 is a 38 kD seven pass transmembrane receptor coupled to G-protein. It mediates Ca2+ mobilization and chemotaxis in response to C-X-C chemokines, such as IP10 (CXCL10), MIG (CXCL9), I-TAC (CXCL11) and PF4 (CXCL4). CXCR3 is expressed primarily on activiated T lymphocytes, NK cells, and some epithelial cells and endothelial cells. It is not expressed on B cells, monocytes or granulocytes.
