The Mouse CD183 (CXCR3) Monoclonal Antibody (APC-conjugated) is a specialized tool for researchers studying the CXCR3 protein, an important chemokine receptor involved in immune responses and inflammation. This monoclonal antibody, known as CXCR3-173 (AGEL1430), is produced for use in flow cytometry applications and has been extensively validated for specificity and sensitivity in detecting CXCR3 in mouse samples.CXCR3 is a chemokine receptor that plays a critical role in recruiting immune cells to sites of inflammation and infection. By facilitating the migration and activation of T cells, CXCR3 contributes to the body's defense mechanisms against pathogens and tumor cells.
Research into CXCR3 function is vital for understanding immune responses in conditions such as autoimmune diseases, viral infections, and cancer. The APC-conjugated CXCR3-173 antibody offers a reliable method for identifying and analyzing CXCR3 expression on various cell types in mouse models. Its high specificity and fluorescence properties make it an excellent choice for flow cytometry experiments aimed at deciphering the role of CXCR3 in immune regulation and disease pathogenesis. Researchers can trust this monoclonal antibody to deliver accurate and reproducible results in their studies of CXCR3 biology.

Background:
CD183/CXCR3, also known as CXCR3, is a member of the C-X-C chemokine family, characterized by a pair of cysteine residues separated by a single amino acid. CXCR3 is a 38 kD seven pass transmembrane receptor coupled to G-protein. It mediates Ca2+ mobilization and chemotaxis in response to C-X-C chemokines, such as IP10 (CXCL10), MIG (CXCL9), I-TAC (CXCL11) and PF4 (CXCL4). CXCR3 is expressed primarily on activiated T lymphocytes, NK cells, and some epithelial cells and endothelial cells. It is not expressed on B cells, monocytes or granulocytes.
