The Mouse CD11c Monoclonal Antibody (PE/Cyanine7 Conjugated, N418) is a powerful tool for researchers working in the field of immunology and cell biology. This antibody specifically targets CD11c, a cell surface marker commonly used to identify dendritic cells, important players in the immune system. Designed for use in flow cytometry applications, this antibody is conjugated to PE/Cyanine7, allowing for easy and sensitive detection of CD11c-positive cells. Its high specificity and low background make it an ideal choice for analyzing immune cell populations in various tissues and experimental conditions.Dendritic cells are key regulators of immune responses, playing crucial roles in initiating and shaping the immune reaction.
By targeting CD11c, researchers can accurately characterize dendritic cell subsets and study their functions in both normal and disease states. This antibody opens up possibilities for investigating dendritic cell biology, immune responses, and potential therapeutic interventions in conditions such as infections, autoimmune diseases, and cancer. With its reliable performance and versatility in applications, the Mouse CD11c Monoclonal Antibody (PE/Cyanine7 Conjugated, N418) from AssayGenie is a valuable asset for scientists seeking to delve deeper into the intricate world of immune cell research.

Background:
CD11c is a 150 kD glycoprotein also known as αX integrin, CR4, and p150. CD11c forms a αXβ2 heterodimer with β2 integrin (CD18). It is primarily expressed on dendritic cells, NK cells, a subset of intestinal intraepithelial lymphocytes (IEL), and some activated T cells. The αXβ2 integrin plays an important role in cell-cell contact by binding its ligands: iC3b, fibrinogen and CD54.
