The Mouse CD11c Monoclonal Antibody (PE/Cyanine7 Conjugated, N418) is a specialized tool for immunology and cell biology studies. This antibody is designed for specific detection of the CD11c marker, a key cell surface molecule that plays a critical role in the function of dendritic cells.Dendritic cells are crucial players in the immune system, acting as antigen-presenting cells that initiate and regulate immune responses. The CD11c marker is commonly used to identify and isolate dendritic cells in various tissues. This high-quality monoclonal antibody, conjugated with PE/Cyanine7, allows for sensitive and precise detection of CD11c-expressing cells by flow cytometry.
By targeting CD11c, researchers can investigate the function and behavior of dendritic cells in different experimental systems. This antibody is validated for use in flow cytometry applications, providing reliable results for studies on immune responses, inflammation, antigen presentation, and immune cell interactions. In summary, the Mouse CD11c Monoclonal Antibody (PE/Cyanine7 Conjugated, N418) is a valuable tool for researchers interested in understanding the role of dendritic cells in immune regulation and inflammatory processes. Its specificity and sensitivity make it an essential reagent for a wide range of research applications in immunology and related fields.

Background:
CD11c is a 150 kD glycoprotein also known as αX integrin, CR4, and p150. CD11c forms a αXβ2 heterodimer with β2 integrin (CD18). It is primarily expressed on dendritic cells, NK cells, a subset of intestinal intraepithelial lymphocytes (IEL), and some activated T cells. The αXβ2 integrin plays an important role in cell-cell contact by binding its ligands: iC3b, fibrinogen and CD54.
