The Mouse CD106 Monoclonal Antibody (PerCP-Cyanine5.5 Conjugated) is a valuable tool for research purposes, specifically designed to target CD106, a cell surface molecule involved in immune regulation and cell-cell adhesion. This monoclonal antibody, designated M/K-2.7, is conjugated with PerCP-Cyanine5.5 to enable effective detection and analysis of CD106 in various experimental settings.CD106, also known as vascular cell adhesion molecule-1 (VCAM-1), plays a crucial role in mediating leukocyte-endothelial cell interactions and is implicated in inflammatory responses and immune cell recruitment. Understanding the expression and function of CD106 is vital for studying inflammation, immune responses, and potential therapeutic interventions in conditions such as cardiovascular diseases, autoimmune disorders, and chronic inflammatory conditions.
The Mouse CD106 Monoclonal Antibody (PerCP-Cyanine5.5 Conjugated) offers researchers a reliable tool to investigate the role of CD106 in various biological processes. Whether used in flow cytometry, immunofluorescence, or other experimental techniques, this antibody provides accurate and specific detection of CD106, facilitating in-depth studies in immunology, vascular biology, and related fields.

Background:
CD106 is a 110 kD glycosylphosphatidylinositol (GPI)-linked transmembrane protein, also known as VCAM-1 and INCAM-110. It is constitutively expressed on bone marrow stromal cells, myeloid progenitors, splenic dendritic cells, activated endothelial cells, as well as some lymphocytes. CD106 expression can be upregulated on endothelial cells by inflammatory cytokines. CD106 is involved in adhesion and acts as a counter-receptor for VLA-4 (α4/β1 integrin) and LPAM-1 (α4/β7 integrin).
