The Mouse C3a Complement Component 3a ELISA Kit is specifically designed to accurately measure levels of C3a complement component 3a in mouse serum, plasma, and cell culture supernatants. This kit offers high sensitivity and specificity, ensuring precise and reproducible results for a variety of research purposes.C3a complement component 3a is a key player in the complement system, a crucial component of the immune response that helps to clear pathogens and promote inflammation. Dysregulation of the complement system has been linked to various diseases, including autoimmune disorders, infections, and inflammatory conditions.
Therefore, the measurement of C3a levels is important for understanding the role of this protein in health and disease, as well as for the development of potential therapeutic interventions.Overall, the Mouse C3a Complement Component 3a ELISA Kit from Assay Genie provides researchers with a valuable tool for investigating the function and regulation of C3a in mouse models, offering reliable and accurate results for a wide range of experimental settings.

This ELISA kit uses the Sandwich-ELISA principle. The micro ELISA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Mouse C3a. Standards or samples are added to the micro ELISA plate wells and combined with the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for Mouse C3a and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate are added successively to each micro plate well and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain Mouse C3a, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate will appear blue in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of stop solution and the color turns yellow. The optical density (OD) is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 nm ± 2 nm. The OD value is proportional to the concentration of Mouse C3a. You can calculate the concentration of Mouse C3a in the samples by comparing the OD of the samples to the standard curve.
