The Mouse AST (Aspartate Aminotransferase) ELISA Kit is specially designed for the precise detection of AST levels in mouse serum, plasma, and cell culture supernatants. This kit boasts high sensitivity and specificity, ensuring dependable and consistent results for various research applications.AST, also known as GOT (Glutamic-Oxaloacetic Transaminase), is a key enzyme involved in amino acid metabolism and liver function. Elevated levels of AST in the blood can indicate liver damage or injury, making it a valuable biomarker for monitoring liver health and assessing the severity of liver diseases.
With the Mouse AST ELISA Kit, researchers can accurately measure AST levels in mouse samples, allowing for in-depth investigations into liver function, disease progression, and potential therapeutic interventions. Trust in this kit for reliable and precise results in your research endeavors.

This ELISA kit uses the Sandwich-ELISA principle. The micro ELISA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Mouse AST. Standards or samples are added to the micro ELISA plate wells and combined with the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for Mouse AST and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate are added successively to each micro plate well and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain Mouse AST, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate will appear blue in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of stop solution and the color turns yellow. The optical density (OD) is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 nm ± 2 nm. The OD value is proportional to the concentration of Mouse AST. You can calculate the concentration of Mouse AST in the samples by comparing the OD of the samples to the standard curve.
