The Monkey CT (Calcitonin) ELISA Kit is specifically designed for the precise measurement of calcitonin levels in monkey serum, plasma, and cell culture supernatants. With its high sensitivity and specificity, this kit delivers accurate and reproducible results, making it an excellent choice for various research applications.Calcitonin is a key hormone that regulates calcium levels in the body and is involved in bone metabolism. It is essential for maintaining healthy bones and plays a role in conditions such as osteoporosis and hypercalcemia.
The Monkey CT ELISA Kit allows researchers to study the role of calcitonin in these conditions and explore potential therapeutic interventions. This kit provides a valuable tool for researchers studying bone health, endocrine disorders, and other related fields. Its easy-to-use format and reliable performance make it a valuable addition to any laboratory focused on understanding the mechanisms underlying calcium regulation and bone homeostasis in primates.

This ELISA kit uses the Sandwich-ELISA principle. The micro ELISA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Monkey CT. Standards or samples are added to the micro ELISA plate wells and combined with the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for Monkey CT and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate are added successively to each micro plate well and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain Monkey CT, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate will appear blue in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of stop solution and the color turns yellow. The optical density (OD) is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 nm ± 2 nm. The OD value is proportional to the concentration of Monkey CT. You can calculate the concentration of Monkey CT in the samples by comparing the OD of the samples to the standard curve.
