The Human TTR (Transthyretin) CLIA Kit is a highly sensitive and specific assay designed for the accurate detection of transthyretin levels in human serum, plasma, and cell culture supernatants. This kit provides reliable and reproducible results, making it ideal for various research applications.Transthyretin is a vital protein involved in transporting thyroid hormones and vitamin A in the body. Abnormal levels of transthyretin have been linked to various conditions such as amyloidosis, familial amyloidotic polyneuropathy, and Alzheimer's disease.
Therefore, the Human TTR CLIA Kit serves as an essential tool for studying these conditions and developing potential therapies.Overall, the Human TTR CLIA Kit offers researchers a reliable and accurate method for quantifying transthyretin levels, allowing for a deeper understanding of its role in different diseases and potential therapeutic interventions.

This CLIA kit uses the Sandwich-CLIA principle. The micro CLIA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Human TTR. Standards or samples are added to the micro CLIA plate wells and combined with the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for Human TTR and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate are added successively to each micro plate well and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain Human TTR, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate will appear fluorescence. The Relative light unit (RLU) value is measured by the Chemiluminescence immunoassay analyzer. The RLU value is positively associated with the concentration of Human TTR. You can calculate the concentration of Human TTR in the samples by comparing the RLU value of the samples to the standard curve.
