The Human TPO (Thrombopoietin) ELISA Kit is specifically designed for the accurate measurement of TPO levels in human serum, plasma, and cell culture supernatants. This kit offers a high level of sensitivity and specificity, ensuring the reliability and reproducibility of results, which makes it ideal for various research applications in the field.TPO is a key regulator of platelet production and plays a crucial role in maintaining normal levels of platelets in the blood. Imbalances in TPO levels have been associated with thrombocytopenia, myelodysplastic syndromes, and some cases of immune thrombocytopenia.
Therefore, the detection of TPO levels can provide valuable insights into these conditions and aid in the development of potential therapeutic interventions.Overall, the Human TPO ELISA Kit is a valuable tool for researchers studying platelet disorders, hematopoiesis, and related diseases, offering accurate and reliable measurements of TPO levels for further investigation and analysis.

This ELISA kit uses the Sandwich-ELISA principle. The micro ELISA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Human TPO. Standards or samples are added to the micro ELISA plate wells and combined with the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for Human TPO and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate are added successively to each micro plate well and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain Human TPO, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate will appear blue in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of stop solution and the color turns yellow. The optical density (OD) is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 nm ± 2 nm. The OD value is proportional to the concentration of Human TPO. You can calculate the concentration of Human TPO in the samples by comparing the OD of the samples to the standard curve.
