Human tPA (Plasminogen Activator, Tissue) ELISA Kit
The Human Tissue Plasminogen Activator (tPA) ELISA Kit is a reliable and accurate tool for the quantitative detection of tPA levels in human samples including serum, plasma, and cell culture supernatants. This ELISA kit offers high sensitivity and specificity, ensuring precise and reproducible results for a variety of research applications.tPA, also known as tissue-type plasminogen activator, is a critical enzyme involved in the breakdown of blood clots and regulation of fibrinolysis. Dysregulation of tPA has been associated with various cardiovascular diseases, stroke, and other thrombotic disorders, making it a valuable biomarker for studying these conditions and potential therapeutic interventions.
This ELISA kit is designed to streamline the detection of tPA levels in human samples, providing researchers with a powerful tool for investigating the role of tPA in disease pathogenesis and therapeutic development. Get accurate and reliable results with the Human tPA ELISA Kit from Assay Genie.

This ELISA kit uses the Sandwich-ELISA principle. The micro ELISA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Human tPA. Standards or samples are added to the micro ELISA plate wells and combined with the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for Human tPA and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate are added successively to each micro plate well and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain Human tPA, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate will appear blue in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of stop solution and the color turns yellow. The optical density (OD) is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 nm ± 2 nm. The OD value is proportional to the concentration of Human tPA. You can calculate the concentration of Human tPA in the samples by comparing the OD of the samples to the standard curve.
