Human SPB (Pulmonary Surfactant Associated Protein B) CLIA Kit
The Human SPB (Pulmonary Surfactant Associated Protein B) CLIA Kit is a specialized assay designed for the precise and accurate measurement of SPB levels in human samples such as serum, plasma, and cell culture supernatants. With its high sensitivity and specificity, this kit delivers reliable and consistent results, making it a valuable tool for various research applications.SPB is a vital protein involved in the function of pulmonary surfactant, which is essential for maintaining the structural integrity of the lungs and facilitating proper gas exchange.
Abnormalities in SPB levels have been linked to respiratory diseases such as acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) and infant respiratory distress syndrome (IRDS), highlighting the importance of monitoring SPB levels for early detection and management of these conditions.Whether studying lung development, respiratory diseases, or exploring potential therapeutic targets, the Human SPB CLIA Kit provides researchers with a reliable and accurate method for quantifying SPB levels, advancing our understanding of pulmonary health and disease.

This CLIA kit uses the Sandwich-CLIA principle. The micro CLIA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Human SPB. Standards or samples are added to the micro CLIA plate wells and combined with the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for Human SPB and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate are added successively to each micro plate well and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain Human SPB, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate will appear fluorescence. The Relative light unit (RLU) value is measured by the Chemiluminescence immunoassay analyzer. The RLU value is positively associated with the concentration of Human SPB. You can calculate the concentration of Human SPB in the samples by comparing the RLU value of the samples to the standard curve.
