The Human SNC (Alpha-Synuclein) Alpha ELISA Kit is specifically designed for the accurate and sensitive detection of alpha-synuclein levels in human samples, including serum, plasma, and cell culture supernatants. This kit offers high sensitivity and specificity, ensuring reliable and reproducible results for a variety of research applications.Alpha-synuclein is a key protein involved in neurodegenerative disorders such as Parkinson's disease, Alzheimer's disease, and dementia with Lewy bodies. Abnormal accumulation of alpha-synuclein in the brain is associated with the development and progression of these conditions, making it a valuable biomarker for studying disease pathology and potential therapeutic interventions.
With its high performance and ease of use, the Human SNC (Alpha-Synuclein) Alpha ELISA Kit is an essential tool for researchers and clinicians looking to further understand the role of alpha-synuclein in neurodegenerative diseases, paving the way for new diagnostic and treatment strategies.

This ELISA kit uses the Sandwich-ELISA principle. The micro ELISA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Human SNCα. Standards or samples are added to the micro ELISA plate wells and combined with the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for Human SNCα and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate are added successively to each micro plate well and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain Human SNCα, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate will appear blue in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of stop solution and the color turns yellow. The optical density (OD) is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 nm ± 2 nm. The OD value is proportional to the concentration of Human SNCα. You can calculate the concentration of Human SNCα in the samples by comparing the OD of the samples to the standard curve.
