The Human PP (Pancreatic Polypeptide) ELISA Kit is specifically designed for the precise measurement of pancreatic polypeptide levels in human samples, including serum, plasma, and cell culture supernatants. This kit offers exceptional sensitivity and specificity, ensuring accurate and consistent results for various research applications.Pancreatic polypeptide is a hormone produced by the pancreas that plays a crucial role in regulating food intake and energy balance. Abnormal levels of pancreatic polypeptide have been associated with conditions such as obesity, diabetes, and eating disorders, making it a valuable biomarker for studying these metabolic disorders and developing potential therapeutic interventions.
With its advanced technology and reliable performance, the Human PP ELISA Kit is an indispensable tool for researchers studying the role of pancreatic polypeptide in health and disease. Trust Assay Genie for high-quality ELISA kits that deliver accurate and reliable results every time.

This ELISA kit uses the Sandwich-ELISA principle. The micro ELISA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Human PP. Standards or samples are added to the micro ELISA plate wells and combined with the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for Human PP and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate are added successively to each micro plate well and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain Human PP, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate will appear blue in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of stop solution and the color turns yellow. The optical density (OD) is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 nm ± 2 nm. The OD value is proportional to the concentration of Human PP. You can calculate the concentration of Human PP in the samples by comparing the OD of the samples to the standard curve.
