The Human Proinsulin CLIA Kit is specifically designed for the quantitative detection of proinsulin levels in human serum, plasma, and cell culture supernatants. With its high sensitivity and specificity, this kit provides accurate and reliable results, making it ideal for a variety of research applications.Proinsulin is a key molecule in the regulation of glucose metabolism, serving as a precursor to insulin. Monitoring proinsulin levels is important in studying conditions such as diabetes and metabolic disorders, as well as in assessing insulin production and secretion.
This CLIA kit offers a simple and efficient means of measuring proinsulin levels, allowing researchers to gain valuable insights into the mechanisms of insulin regulation and glucose homeostasis. It is a valuable tool for investigating the pathophysiology of diabetes and related conditions, as well as for developing new therapeutic strategies.

This CLIA kit uses the Sandwich-CLIA principle. The micro CLIA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Human PI. Standards or samples are added to the micro CLIA plate wells and combined with the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for Human PI and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate are added successively to each micro plate well and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain Human PI, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate will appear fluorescence. The Relative light unit (RLU) value is measured by the Chemiluminescence immunoassay analyzer. The RLU value is positively associated with the concentration of Human PI. You can calculate the concentration of Human PI in the samples by comparing the RLU value of the samples to the standard curve.
