The Human PCI Procollagen I CLIA Kit is a highly sensitive and specific assay designed for the accurate measurement of Procollagen I levels in human serum, plasma, and cell culture supernatants. This kit ensures reliable and reproducible results, making it ideal for a variety of research applications.Procollagen I is a key protein involved in the synthesis of collagen, which is crucial for maintaining the structure and strength of connective tissues such as skin, bone, and blood vessels. Abnormal levels of Procollagen I have been linked to conditions such as fibrosis, arthritis, and skin disorders, making it an important biomarker for studying these diseases and developing potential therapeutic interventions.
With the Human PCI Procollagen I CLIA Kit, researchers can accurately measure Procollagen I levels in biological samples, allowing for a better understanding of its role in disease pathology and the development of targeted treatments. This kit provides a reliable and efficient tool for advancing research in the field of collagen biology and related diseases.

This CLIA kit uses the Sandwich-CLIA principle. The micro CLIA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Human PCⅠ. Standards or samples are added to the micro CLIA plate wells and combined with the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for Human PCⅠ and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate are added successively to each micro plate well and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain Human PCⅠ, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate will appear fluorescence. The Relative light unit (RLU) value is measured by the Chemiluminescence immunoassay analyzer. The RLU value is positively associated with the concentration of Human PCⅠ. You can calculate the concentration of Human PCⅠ in the samples by comparing the RLU value of the samples to the standard curve.
