The Human OPG (Osteoprotegerin) CLIA Kit is specifically designed for the precise measurement of OPG levels in human samples such as serum, plasma, and cell culture supernatants. This kit offers exceptional sensitivity and specificity, ensuring accurate and reproducible results for a variety of research purposes.OPG, also known as osteoprotegerin, is a key regulator of bone metabolism and plays a crucial role in regulating bone resorption. Dysregulation of OPG levels has been implicated in various bone diseases such as osteoporosis and osteopetrosis, as well as inflammatory conditions like rheumatoid arthritis.
As such, OPG serves as a valuable biomarker for studying these conditions and developing potential treatment strategies. With its high-quality performance and ease of use, the Human OPG CLIA Kit from Assay Genie is a valuable tool for researchers looking to investigate the role of OPG in bone health and disease. Order your kit today and discover new insights into the complex mechanisms of bone metabolism.

This CLIA kit uses the Sandwich-CLIA principle. The micro CLIA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Human OPG. Standards or samples are added to the micro CLIA plate wells and combined with the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for Human OPG and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate are added successively to each micro plate well and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain Human OPG, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate will appear fluorescence. The Relative light unit (RLU) value is measured by the Chemiluminescence immunoassay analyzer. The RLU value is positively associated with the concentration of Human OPG. You can calculate the concentration of Human OPG in the samples by comparing the RLU value of the samples to the standard curve.
