The Human MUC6 (Mucin 6) CLIA Kit is specifically designed for the quantitative detection of Mucin 6 levels in human samples, including serum, plasma, and cell culture supernatants. This kit offers high sensitivity and precision, providing reliable and consistent results for research purposes.Mucin 6 is a vital component of mucous membranes and plays a crucial role in protecting and lubricating the epithelial surfaces of various organs, including the gastrointestinal tract.
Abnormal levels of Mucin 6 have been associated with various pathological conditions, such as inflammatory bowel disease and gastric cancer, making it a valuable biomarker for studying these diseases and designing potential therapeutic interventions.Overall, the Human MUC6 CLIA Kit is an essential tool for researchers studying mucin biology and its role in disease pathogenesis, offering accurate and precise measurements for a wide range of applications.

This CLIA kit uses the Sandwich-CLIA principle. The micro CLIA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Human MUC6. Standards or samples are added to the micro CLIA plate wells and combined with the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for Human MUC6 and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate are added successively to each micro plate well and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain Human MUC6, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate will appear fluorescence. The Relative light unit (RLU) value is measured by the Chemiluminescence immunoassay analyzer. The RLU value is positively associated with the concentration of Human MUC6. You can calculate the concentration of Human MUC6 in the samples by comparing the RLU value of the samples to the standard curve.
