Human MCP-2/CCL8 (Monocyte Chemotactic Protein 2) CLIA Kit
The Human MCP-2 (CCL8) CLIA Kit is a highly sensitive and specific assay designed for the accurate detection of Monocyte Chemotactic Protein 2 levels in human samples such as serum, plasma, and cell culture supernatants. This kit provides reliable and reproducible results, making it ideal for a wide range of research applications.Monocyte Chemotactic Protein 2 (MCP-2) is a critical chemokine involved in the recruitment and activation of monocytes during inflammation and immune responses.
Dysregulation of MCP-2 has been implicated in various inflammatory diseases, making it a valuable biomarker for studying these conditions and developing potential therapies. With its high sensitivity and specificity, the Human MCP-2 (CCL8) CLIA Kit from Assay Genie offers researchers a reliable tool for measuring MCP-2 levels in human samples, providing valuable insights into the role of this chemokine in health and disease.

This CLIA kit uses the Sandwich-CLIA principle. The micro CLIA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Human MCP-2/CCL8. Standards or samples are added to the micro CLIA plate wells and combined with the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for Human MCP-2/CCL8 and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate are added successively to each micro plate well and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain Human MCP-2/CCL8, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate will appear fluorescence. The Relative light unit (RLU) value is measured by the Chemiluminescence immunoassay analyzer. The RLU value is positively associated with the concentration of Human MCP-2/CCL8. You can calculate the concentration of Human MCP-2/CCL8 in the samples by comparing the RLU value of the samples to the standard curve.
