The Human LYZ (Lysozyme) CLIA Kit is a powerful tool for the precise quantification of lysozyme levels in human biological samples such as serum, plasma, and cell culture supernatants. This kit offers exceptional sensitivity and specificity, ensuring accurate and consistent results for a variety of research purposes.Lysozyme, a key antimicrobial enzyme, plays a critical role in the innate immune system by breaking down bacterial cell walls.
Its levels can be indicative of inflammatory processes, infections, and other immune-related conditions, making it a valuable biomarker for studying immune responses and developing novel therapeutic approaches. With its user-friendly protocol and robust performance, the Human LYZ (Lysozyme) CLIA Kit is an invaluable resource for researchers interested in investigating the role of lysozyme in health and disease.

This CLIA kit uses the Sandwich-CLIA principle. The micro CLIA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Human LZM. Standards or samples are added to the micro CLIA plate wells and combined with the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for Human LZM and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate are added successively to each micro plate well and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain Human LZM, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate will appear fluorescence. The Relative light unit (RLU) value is measured by the Chemiluminescence immunoassay analyzer. The RLU value is positively associated with the concentration of Human LZM. You can calculate the concentration of Human LZM in the samples by comparing the RLU value of the samples to the standard curve.
