LRG1 belongs to the leucine-rich repeat (LRR) family of proteins, which have been shown to be involved in protein-protein interaction, signal transduction, cell adhesion and development. The LRG1 is expressed during granulocyte differentiation.
LRG1 produced in Sf9 Baculovirus cells is a single, glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 321 amino acids (36-347a.a.) and having a molecular mass of 35.4kDa. (Molecular size on SDS-PAGE will appear at approximately 40-57kDa). LRG1 is expressed with a 9 amino acid His tag at C-Terminus and purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
