The Human IL-21 Monoclonal Antibody PE-Conjugated (3A3-N2) is a vital tool for researchers investigating the functions of interleukin-21 (IL-21) in immune responses and diseases. This antibody, conjugated with phycoerythrin (PE) for fluorescence-based applications, specifically targets IL-21, a cytokine with diverse roles in the immune system.IL-21 is known for its involvement in regulating immune responses, particularly in promoting B and T cell differentiation and function. Its dysregulation has been linked to various immune-related disorders, including autoimmune diseases and inflammatory conditions.
The PE-conjugated monoclonal antibody 3A3-N2 recognizes IL-21 with high specificity, allowing for precise detection and analysis of this key cytokine in experimental settings.By utilizing this antibody, researchers can explore the intricate mechanisms by which IL-21 impacts immune cell activities and disease processes. From investigating the therapeutic potential of IL-21 modulation to uncovering its role in immune-mediated pathologies, this antibody provides a valuable tool for advancing our understanding of immune regulation and potential treatment strategies.

Background:
Interleukin 21 (IL-21) is a potent immunomodulatory cytokine mainly produced by NKT and CD4+ T-cells, particularly the inflammatory Th17 subset, and has pleiotropic effects on both innate and adaptive immune responses. These actions include positive effects such as enhancing proliferation of NK cells and cytotoxic T cells, and inhibitory effects on the antigen-presenting function of dendritic cells. It can also be proapoptotic for B cells and NK cells. Studies have shown that IL-21 is also an autocrine cytokine that potently induces Th17 differentiation, suppresses Foxp3 expression, and serves as a target for treating inflammatory diseases.
