The Human GL Alpha-Galactosidase Alpha CLIA Kit is specifically designed for the precise and efficient detection of GL Alpha-Galactosidase Alpha levels in human samples including serum, plasma, and cell culture supernatants. This kit offers exceptional sensitivity and specificity for accurate and reproducible results, making it an ideal tool for a wide range of research applications.GL Alpha-Galactosidase Alpha is an essential enzyme involved in the breakdown of complex carbohydrates, particularly in the digestion of certain foods. Deficiencies in this enzyme can lead to conditions such as Fabry disease, a rare genetic disorder affecting multiple organs and systems in the body.
As such, the accurate measurement of GL Alpha-Galactosidase Alpha levels is crucial for the diagnosis and monitoring of Fabry disease, as well as for research into potential treatments and therapies.Overall, the Human GL Alpha-Galactosidase Alpha CLIA Kit provides researchers with a reliable and precise tool for studying the role of GL Alpha-Galactosidase Alpha in health and disease, offering valuable insights into metabolic processes and potential therapeutic targets.

This CLIA kit uses the Sandwich-CLIA principle. The micro CLIA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Human GLα. Standards or samples are added to the micro CLIA plate wells and combined with the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for Human GLα and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate are added successively to each micro plate well and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain Human GLα, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate will appear fluorescence. The Relative light unit (RLU) value is measured by the Chemiluminescence immunoassay analyzer. The RLU value is positively associated with the concentration of Human GLα. You can calculate the concentration of Human GLα in the samples by comparing the RLU value of the samples to the standard curve.
