The Human Fe-Ferritin CLIA Kit is specifically designed for the quantitative measurement of ferritin levels in human serum, plasma, and cell culture supernatants. This kit offers high sensitivity and specificity, allowing for accurate and reproducible results, making it an ideal tool for a variety of research purposes.Ferritin is an important protein involved in iron storage and transport in the body. Abnormal ferritin levels can indicate conditions such as iron deficiency anemia, hemochromatosis, and other iron-related disorders.
Monitoring ferritin levels is essential in understanding and managing these conditions effectively. With the Human Fe-Ferritin CLIA Kit, researchers can confidently measure ferritin levels with precision and reliability, providing valuable insights into iron metabolism and related diseases. This kit is a valuable resource for studies focusing on iron homeostasis, inflammation, and various health conditions associated with ferritin dysregulation.

This CLIA kit uses the Sandwich-CLIA principle. The micro CLIA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Human FE. Standards or samples are added to the micro CLIA plate wells and combined with the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for Human FE and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate are added successively to each micro plate well and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain Human FE, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate will appear fluorescence. The Relative light unit (RLU) value is measured by the Chemiluminescence immunoassay analyzer. The RLU value is positively associated with the concentration of Human FE. You can calculate the concentration of Human FE in the samples by comparing the RLU value of the samples to the standard curve.
