Human Defensin Alpha 5, Paneth Cell Specific (DEFa5) ELISA Kit
The Human Defensin Alpha 5 (Paneth Cell Specific DEFA5) ELISA Kit is a powerful tool for the quantitative measurement of DEFA5 levels in human samples such as serum, plasma, and cell culture supernatants. With its high sensitivity and specificity, this kit provides accurate and reproducible results, making it suitable for various research applications.Defensin Alpha 5 (DEFA5) is a key component of the innate immune system, specifically produced by Paneth cells in the small intestine to help protect against microbial infections.
Aberrant levels of DEFA5 have been linked to inflammatory bowel diseases, colorectal cancer, and other gastrointestinal disorders, highlighting its importance as a potential biomarker for disease diagnosis and prognosis.By using the Human Defensin Alpha 5 ELISA Kit, researchers can gain valuable insights into the role of DEFA5 in health and disease, paving the way for the development of novel therapeutic strategies targeting this important immune molecule.

Intra-assay Precision:
Intra-Assay: CV <10%. 3 samples with low, middle and high level the index were tested 20 times on one plate, respectively.
Inter-assay Precision:
Inter-Assay: CV <12%. 3 samples with low, middle and high level the index were tested on 3 different plates, 8 replicates in each plate.
Stability:
The stability of ELISA kit is determined by the loss rate of activity. The loss rate of this kit is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage conditions. Note: To minimize unnecessary influences on the performance, operation procedures and lab conditions, especially room temperature, air humidity and incubator temperatures should be strictly regulated. It is also strongly suggested that the whole assay is performed by the same experimenter from the beginning to the end.
