Human DEF alpha1 (Defensin Alpha 1, Neutrophil) ELISA Kit
The Human Def Alpha1 (Defensin Alpha 1 Neutrophil) ELISA Kit is a powerful tool for the measurement of defensin alpha 1 levels in human samples. This kit offers exceptional sensitivity and specificity, allowing for accurate and consistent results in serum, plasma, and cell culture supernatants.Defensin alpha 1 is an important antimicrobial peptide that plays a critical role in the innate immune response, protecting against bacterial and fungal infections. Dysregulation of defensin alpha 1 expression has been linked to various inflammatory diseases, making it a valuable marker for understanding the pathogenesis of such conditions.
With its reliable performance and wide applicability, the Human Def Alpha1 ELISA Kit is an indispensable asset for research studies focused on immune function, infectious diseases, and inflammatory disorders. Get your hands on this advanced assay kit and unlock new insights into the role of defensin alpha 1 in human health and disease.

This ELISA kit uses the Sandwich-ELISA principle. The micro ELISA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Human DEFα1. Standards or samples are added to the micro ELISA plate wells and combined with the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for Human DEFα1 and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate are added successively to each micro plate well and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain Human DEFα1, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate will appear blue in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of stop solution and the color turns yellow. The optical density (OD) is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 nm ± 2 nm. The OD value is proportional to the concentration of Human DEFα1. You can calculate the concentration of Human DEFα1 in the samples by comparing the OD of the samples to the standard curve.
