The Human DDC (Dopamine Decarboxylase) CLIA Kit is a highly sensitive and specific assay designed for the accurate detection of DDC levels in human samples including serum, plasma, and cell culture supernatants. This kit provides reliable and reproducible results, making it ideal for a variety of research applications.DDC is an important enzyme involved in the conversion of dopamine to norepinephrine, playing a key role in neurotransmitter production and regulation. Dysregulation of DDC activity has been implicated in various neurological disorders such as Parkinson's disease and schizophrenia.
Therefore, monitoring DDC levels can provide valuable insights into these conditions and aid in the development of potential therapeutic interventions.Overall, the Human DDC CLIA Kit offers researchers a valuable tool for studying the role of DDC in health and disease, with the potential to contribute to advancements in diagnostic and treatment strategies.

This CLIA kit uses the Sandwich-CLIA principle. The micro CLIA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Human DDC. Standards or samples are added to the micro CLIA plate wells and combined with the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for Human DDC and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate are added successively to each micro plate well and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain Human DDC, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate will appear fluorescence. The Relative light unit (RLU) value is measured by the Chemiluminescence immunoassay analyzer. The RLU value is positively associated with the concentration of Human DDC. You can calculate the concentration of Human DDC in the samples by comparing the RLU value of the samples to the standard curve.
