The Human CK-20 (KRT20/Cytokeratin-20) CLIA Kit is specifically designed for the precise measurement of CK-20 levels in human samples including serum, plasma, and cell culture supernatants. This kit offers exceptional sensitivity and specificity, ensuring accurate and consistent results for a variety of research applications.CK-20, also known as Cytokeratin-20, is a cytoskeletal protein primarily found in normal and malignant epithelial cells. It is commonly used as a biomarker for detecting epithelial tumors, such as colorectal and urothelial carcinomas.
Monitoring CK-20 levels can aid in the diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment of these types of cancers. With its reliable performance and broad utility, the Human CK-20 CLIA Kit is an invaluable tool for researchers studying epithelial cell biology, cancer development, and personalized medicine. Trust in this kit to deliver precise measurements and valuable insights into CK-20 expression levels in diverse biological samples.

This CLIA kit uses the Sandwich-CLIA principle. The micro CLIA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Human CK20/KRT20. Standards or samples are added to the micro CLIA plate wells and combined with the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for Human CK20/KRT20 and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate are added successively to each micro plate well and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain Human CK20/KRT20, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate will appear fluorescence. The Relative light unit (RLU) value is measured by the Chemiluminescence immunoassay analyzer. The RLU value is positively associated with the concentration of Human CK20/KRT20. You can calculate the concentration of Human CK20/KRT20 in the samples by comparing the RLU value of the samples to the standard curve.
