The Human CD95 Monoclonal Antibody (AF647 Conjugated) is a powerful tool for researchers studying CD95, a cell surface receptor crucial for regulating apoptosis, or programmed cell death. This monoclonal antibody, designated as DX2 (AGEL1843), is specifically designed for use in flow cytometry and immunofluorescence applications. It is conjugated with AF647, a fluorescent dye that allows for easy visualization and quantification of CD95 expression on cells.CD95, also known as Fas receptor, is a key mediator of programmed cell death and plays a crucial role in the immune system by regulating the survival of immune cells. Dysregulation of CD95 signaling has been implicated in various diseases, including cancer, autoimmune disorders, and infectious diseases.
Understanding the function and expression of CD95 is essential for unraveling its role in health and disease and developing targeted therapies. The Human CD95 Monoclonal Antibody (AF647 Conjugated) provides researchers with a specific and reliable tool for investigating CD95 expression levels and distribution in various cell types. Its high sensitivity and specificity make it an ideal choice for studies focused on apoptosis, immune regulation, and disease mechanisms. By enabling detailed analysis of CD95, this antibody facilitates advancements in understanding the complex biology of programmed cell death and its implications in diverse pathological conditions.
Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by flow cytometric analysis. The amount of the reagent is suggested to be used 5 µL of antibody per test (million cells in 100 µL staining volume or per 100 µL of whole blood). Please check your vial before the experiment. Since applications vary, the appropriate dilutions must be determined for individual use.

Background:
CD95 is a 45 kD single chain type I glycoprotein also known as Fas, APO-1, and TNFRSF6. It is a member of the TNF receptor superfamily. CD95 is expressed on T and B lymphocytes, monocytes, neutrophils, and fibroblasts. CD95 expression is upregulated by activation. The extracellular region of CD95 binds to CD178 (Fas ligand). CD178 binding to CD95 induces apoptosis and has been shown to play a role in the maintenance of peripheral tolerance.
