The Human CD90 Monoclonal Antibody (AF647-conjugated, 5E10) - AGEL1836 offered by Assay Genie is a cutting-edge tool for researchers investigating CD90, a cell surface protein with diverse functions in cell adhesion, migration, and signaling. This monoclonal antibody, conjugated with AF647 for fluorescence detection, provides high specificity and sensitivity for detecting CD90 in human samples.CD90, also known as Thy-1, is a widely studied protein involved in various cellular processes, including stem cell differentiation, wound healing, and immune regulation. The AF647-conjugated 5E10 antibody allows for precise visualization and quantification of CD90 expression in different cell types, making it invaluable for studies in regenerative medicine, immunology, and cancer biology.
By targeting CD90 with this monoclonal antibody, researchers can gain insights into the role of this protein in normal cellular function and disease processes. The ability to detect CD90 at the molecular level using AF647 fluorescence labeling enhances the accuracy and efficiency of experiments, opening up new avenues for understanding the significance of CD90 in both basic research and therapeutic development.
Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by flow cytometric analysis. The amount of the reagent is suggested to be used 5 µL of antibody per test (million cells in 100 µL staining volume or per 100 µL of whole blood). Please check your vial before the experiment. Since applications vary, the appropriate dilutions must be determined for individual use.

Background:
CD90 is a 25-35 kD GPI-anchored protein, also known as Thy-1. It belongs to the Ig superfamily. Human CD90 is expressed on neuronal cells, a subset of CD34+ cells, a subset of fetal liver cells and fetal thymocytes, fibroblasts, activated endothelial cells, and some leukemia cell lines. CD34+CD90+ cells are primitive hematopoietic stem cells. It has been reported that Thy-1 binds with β2 and β3 integrins and plays bimodal roles in the regulation of cell adhesion and neurite outgrowth, and inhibits hematopoietic stem cells proliferation and differentiation.
