The Human CD69 Monoclonal Antibody (APC conjugated) (FN50) is a vital tool for researchers investigating CD69, a cell surface molecule known for its role in immune responses and lymphocyte activation. This monoclonal antibody, conjugated with APC for flow cytometry applications, is specifically designed for use in studying human samples.CD69, a C-type lectin receptor, is involved in the early activation of lymphocytes and is considered a marker for lymphocyte activation. Its expression is induced rapidly upon lymphocyte activation, making it a valuable target for studies focusing on immune responses, infectious diseases, and inflammatory conditions.
This antibody, generated through the FN50 clone, provides high specificity and sensitivity, enabling accurate detection and analysis of CD69 expression in various cell types.Researchers in immunology, infectious diseases, and cancer biology will find this APC-conjugated CD69 monoclonal antibody essential for their studies. By utilizing this antibody, researchers can delve deeper into the mechanisms underlying immune responses and lymphocyte activation, ultimately contributing to advancements in therapeutic strategies targeting immune-related disorders and diseases.

Background:
CD69 is a 27-33 kD type II transmembrane protein also known as activation inducer molecule (AIM), very early activation antigen (VEA), and MLR3. It is a member of the C-type lectin family, expressed as a disulfide-linked homodimer. Other members of this receptor family include NKG2, NKR-P1 CD94, and Ly49. CD69 is transiently expressed on activated leukocytes including T cells, thymocytes, B cells, NK cells, neutrophils, and eosinophils. CD69 is constitutively expressed by a subset of medullary mature thymocytes, platelets, mantle B cells, and certain CD4+ T cells in germinal centers of normal lymph nodes. CD69 is involved in early events of lymphocyte, monocyte, and platelet activation, and has a functional role in redirected lysis mediated by activated NK cells.
