The Human CD64 Monoclonal Antibody (AF647 Conjugated) is a cutting-edge tool for researchers studying CD64, a key cell surface receptor involved in immune responses. This antibody, conjugated with AF647 for enhanced detection, is specifically designed for use in flow cytometry and immunofluorescence applications. It binds specifically to the CD64 protein, enabling precise detection and analysis in human samples across various cell types.CD64, also known as Fc-gamma receptor 1, plays a crucial role in immune defense by mediating the uptake of antibodies and promoting immune signaling.
Understanding the function and expression of CD64 is essential for unraveling immune activation pathways in conditions such as infections, autoimmune diseases, and inflammatory disorders. The Human CD64 Monoclonal Antibody (AF647 Conjugated) is a valuable resource for researchers aiming to elucidate the role of CD64 in immunology, paving the way for potential therapeutic interventions targeting this receptor.

Background:
CD64 is a 72 kD single chain type I glycoprotein also known as FcγRI and FcR I. CD64 is a member of the immunoglobulin superfamily and is expressed on monocytes/macrophages, dendritic cells, and activated granulocytes. The expression can be upregulated by IFN-γ stimulation. CD64 binds IgG immune complex. It plays a role in antigen capture, phagocytosis of IgG/antigen complexes, and antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity (ADCC).
