The Human CD45RO Monoclonal Antibody (PERCP Conjugated) is a specialized tool for researchers investigating immune system markers and cell populations. This antibody specifically targets CD45RO, a cell surface protein associated with memory T cells. Utilizing the UCHL1 clone, this antibody allows for precise detection and analysis of CD45RO in human samples.CD45RO is a key marker for memory T cells, a subset of T lymphocytes that play a crucial role in adaptive immunity and long-lasting immune responses. By targeting CD45RO, researchers can better understand the behavior and function of memory T cells in various immune responses, including infection, vaccination, and autoimmune diseases.
The PERCP conjugation of this antibody enables compatibility with flow cytometry applications, allowing for high-throughput analysis of CD45RO-expressing cells in diverse biological samples. This versatility makes the Human CD45RO Monoclonal Antibody (PERCP Conjugated) a valuable tool for immunologists, oncologists, and researchers studying inflammatory conditions.By utilizing this antibody, researchers can gain insights into the dynamics of memory T cell populations and their contributions to immune surveillance and response. Its high specificity and sensitivity make it an excellent choice for studies aiming to dissect the complex interplay of immune cells in health and disease.

Background:
CD45RO is a 180 kD single chain membrane glycoprotein. It is a splice variant of tyrosine phosphatase CD45, lacking the A, B, and C determinants. The CD45RO isoform is expressed on activated and memory T cells, some B cell subsets, activated monocytes/macrophages, and granulocytes. CD45RO enhances both T cell receptor and B cell receptor signaling mediated activation. CD45 and its isoforms non-covalently associate with lymphocyte phosphatase-associated phosphoprotein (LPAP) on T and B lymphocytes. CD45 has been reported to be associated with several other cell surface antigens including CD1, CD2, CD3, and CD4. CD45 has also been reported to bind galectin-1 and CD22. CD45 isoform expression can change in response to cytokines.
