The Human CD45RO Monoclonal Antibody (PE Conjugated, Clone UCHL1) is an essential tool for researchers studying immune cell subsets, particularly T lymphocytes. This antibody, available from AssayGenie (product code AGEL1697), specifically targets the CD45RO antigen found on memory T cells and activated T cells.CD45RO is a marker of antigen-experienced T cells, helping to differentiate them from naive T cells. This PE-conjugated monoclonal antibody, derived from the UCHL1 clone, allows for the detection and analysis of CD45RO-expressing cells using flow cytometry.
Its high reactivity with human samples ensures reliable and specific results in immunophenotyping studies.By targeting CD45RO, researchers can gain valuable insights into immune responses, memory T cell populations, and immune system dynamics in various health and disease states. Whether investigating immune memory formation, immune surveillance, or immune dysfunction, this CD45RO monoclonal antibody is a valuable tool for advancing immunological research.

Background:
CD45RO is a 180 kD single chain membrane glycoprotein. It is a splice variant of tyrosine phosphatase CD45, lacking the A, B, and C determinants. The CD45RO isoform is expressed on activated and memory T cells, some B cell subsets, activated monocytes/macrophages, and granulocytes. CD45RO enhances both T cell receptor and B cell receptor signaling mediated activation. CD45 and its isoforms non-covalently associate with lymphocyte phosphatase-associated phosphoprotein (LPAP) on T and B lymphocytes. CD45 has been reported to be associated with several other cell surface antigens including CD1, CD2, CD3, and CD4. CD45 has also been reported to bind galectin-1 and CD22. CD45 isoform expression can change in response to cytokines.
