The Human CD45RA Monoclonal Antibody (Biotin Conjugated-HI100) is a specialized antibody designed for research applications involving CD45RA, a cell surface marker commonly used to identify subsets of T cells and B cells in the immune system. This monoclonal antibody, conjugated with biotin for enhanced detection capabilities, is highly specific and exhibits strong reactivity with human samples. It is validated for use in various immunological assays, including flow cytometry and immunohistochemistry.CD45RA is a crucial marker for distinguishing between naive and memory T cell populations, as well as for identifying regulatory T cells. Its expression pattern helps researchers understand the immune response in different physiological and pathological conditions.
By targeting CD45RA, this antibody enables precise detection and characterization of specific cell populations, making it an indispensable tool for studies in immunology, autoimmunity, and infectious diseases.Researchers seeking to unravel the complexities of immune cell subsets and their roles in health and disease will benefit from the specificity and reliability of the Human CD45RA Monoclonal Antibody (Biotin Conjugated-HI100). With its ability to accurately label CD45RA-expressing cells, this antibody supports in-depth investigations into immune system dynamics and the development of targeted therapeutic strategies for various immune-mediated disorders.
Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by flow cytometric analysis. For flow cytometric staining, the suggested use of this reagent is ≤ 1.0 µg per 106 cells in 100 µL volume or 100 µL of whole blood. It is recommended that the reagent be titrated for optimal performance for each application.

Background:
CD45RA is a 205-220 kD single chain type I glycoprotein. It is an exon 4 splice variant of the tyrosine phosphatase CD45. The CD45RA isoform is expressed on resting/naïve T cells, medullary thymocytes, B cells and monocytes. CD45RA enhances both T cell receptor and B cell receptor signaling. CD45 non-covalently associates with lymphocyte phosphatase-associated phosphoprotein (LPAP) on T and B lymphocytes. CD45 has been reported to be associated with several other cell surface antigens including CD1, CD2, CD3, and CD4. CD45 has also been reported to bind galectin-1. CD45 isoform expression can change in response to cytokines.
