The Human CD35 Monoclonal Antibody PE-Cyanine7 Conjugated, E11 (AGEL1014) offered by AssayGenie is a valuable tool for researchers studying CD35, a cell surface receptor involved in immune response modulation. This monoclonal antibody, conjugated with PE-Cyanine7, is specifically designed for use in flow cytometry applications, allowing for the detection and analysis of CD35 expression in human samples.CD35, also known as complement receptor 1 (CR1), plays a crucial role in the regulation of the complement system, which is a key component of the innate immune response. By binding to complement components, CD35 helps to prevent excessive immune activation and maintains immune homeostasis. Research into CD35 function is essential for understanding its role in various immune-related diseases, including autoimmune disorders, infectious diseases, and inflammatory conditions.
The Human CD35 Monoclonal Antibody PE-Cyanine7 Conjugated, E11 (AGEL1014) provides high specificity and sensitivity in detecting CD35 expression, making it an ideal tool for investigations in immunology, infectious diseases, and autoimmunity. Researchers can use this antibody to study the role of CD35 in immune regulation and explore its potential as a therapeutic target for manipulating immune responses in various disease settings. Unlock the potential of CD35 research with this reliable and versatile antibody from AssayGenie.

Background:
CD35 is a type I single chain of glycoprotein, also known as C3b/C4b receptor, Complement Receptor type 1 or CR1. Four molecular weight allotypes (160kD, 190kD, 220kD, and 250kD) have been described. CD35 is expressed on granulocytes, monocytes, B cells, erythrocytes, and follicular dendritic cells, as well as subsets of NK and T cells. CD35 binds complement C3b, C4b, or iC3, and iC4, and plays important roles in both innate and adoptive immune response via mediating phagocytosis by granulocytes and monocytes. CD35 has also been reported to inhibit T-cell proliferation.
