The Human CD35 Monoclonal Antibody (FITC Conjugated) E11 (AGEL1010) is a powerful tool for researchers studying CD35, a cell surface receptor known for its role in immune response modulation. This monoclonal antibody, part of the Assay Genie product line, is specifically designed to target CD35 in human samples, making it an essential reagent for immunology and cell biology studies.CD35, also known as complement receptor type 1 (CR1), is involved in the regulation of the complement system and plays a crucial role in innate immunity. By binding to CD35, this antibody enables the detection and analysis of CD35 protein expression in various cell types, offering valuable insights into immune processes and potential therapeutic targets.
With its FITC conjugation, this antibody provides a fluorescent signal that allows for visualization and localization of CD35 in cells and tissues. Its high specificity and sensitivity make it an ideal choice for techniques such as flow cytometry, fluorescence microscopy, and immunofluorescence assays. Researchers can use this antibody to advance their understanding of CD35 function in health and disease, including autoimmune disorders, infectious diseases, and inflammatory conditions.By utilizing the Human CD35 Monoclonal Antibody (FITC Conjugated) E11 (AGEL1010) from Assay Genie, scientists can unravel the complexities of CD35 biology and pave the way for innovative research in immunology and beyond.

Background:
CD35 is a type I single chain of glycoprotein, also known as C3b/C4b receptor, Complement Receptor type 1 or CR1. Four molecular weight allotypes (160kD, 190kD, 220kD, and 250kD) have been described. CD35 is expressed on granulocytes, monocytes, B cells, erythrocytes, and follicular dendritic cells, as well as subsets of NK and T cells. CD35 binds complement C3b, C4b, or iC3, and iC4, and plays important roles in both innate and adoptive immune response via mediating phagocytosis by granulocytes and monocytes. CD35 has also been reported to inhibit T-cell proliferation.
