The Human CD35 Monoclonal Antibody (AF488 conjugated) is a cutting-edge tool designed for researchers working with CD35, a crucial cell surface protein involved in immune response and regulation. This monoclonal antibody, labeled with AF488 for fluorescence detection, offers high specificity and sensitivity for detecting CD35 in human samples across a range of experimental applications.CD35, also known as complement receptor 1 (CR1), plays a pivotal role in the complement system, a part of the immune response that helps clear pathogens and damaged cells. By binding specifically to CD35, this antibody enables precise identification and analysis of CD35 expression in various cell types, making it an ideal asset for immunology research, autoimmune disease studies, and investigations into inflammatory conditions.
Researchers utilizing the Human CD35 Monoclonal Antibody (AF488 conjugated) can gain a deeper understanding of the immune modulation mechanisms involving CD35, potentially uncovering new insights into immune-related disorders such as autoimmune diseases, infections, and inflammatory conditions. The antibody's reliable performance in fluorescence-based assays makes it an invaluable tool for exploring the functions and roles of CD35 in health and disease contexts.

Background:
CD35 is a type I single chain of glycoprotein, also known as C3b/C4b receptor, Complement Receptor type 1 or CR1. Four molecular weight allotypes (160kD, 190kD, 220kD, and 250kD) have been described. CD35 is expressed on granulocytes, monocytes, B cells, erythrocytes, and follicular dendritic cells, as well as subsets of NK and T cells. CD35 binds complement C3b, C4b, or iC3, and iC4, and plays important roles in both innate and adoptive immune response via mediating phagocytosis by granulocytes and monocytes. CD35 has also been reported to inhibit T-cell proliferation.
