The Human CD24 Monoclonal Antibody (APC Conjugated) - ML5 (AGEL1761) offered by Assay Genie is a powerful tool for researchers studying CD24, a cell surface marker with implications in cancer and immune response. This monoclonal antibody is specifically designed for use in flow cytometry and other immunoassays, allowing for precise detection and analysis of CD24 expression in human samples.CD24, also known as a biomarker for various cancers and a key player in modulating immune responses, has garnered attention in the fields of oncology and immunology. The APC-conjugated ML5 antibody targets the CD24 protein, enabling researchers to investigate its role in cancer progression, tumor immunology, and autoimmune diseases.
The high specificity and sensitivity of this antibody make it an ideal choice for studies aiming to understand the functions and mechanisms of CD24 in various biological contexts.By utilizing the Human CD24 Monoclonal Antibody (APC Conjugated) - ML5 (AGEL1761) from Assay Genie, researchers can further uncover the intricate functions of CD24 and its potential implications in disease pathology and therapeutic development.
Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by flow cytometric analysis. The amount of the reagent is suggested to be used 5 µL of antibody per test (million cells in 100 µL staining volume or per 100 µL of whole blood). Please check your vial before the experiment. Since applications vary, the appropriate dilutions must be determined for individual use.

Background:
CD24 is a 35-45 kD glycosylphosphatidylinositol (GPI)-linked protein also known as heat stable antigen (HSA), BA-1, Ly-52, and nectadrin. It is expressed on the surface of B cells (but not plasma cells), granulocytes, follicular dendritic cells, and epithelial cells. CD24 may play a role in the regulation of B-cell proliferation and maturation. CD24 crosslinking induces a Ca2+ flux in mature B cells. CD24 has been shown to interact with CD62P (P-selectin).
