The CD11c Monoclonal Antibody (FITC Conjugated) (BU15) is a powerful tool for researchers studying the immune system and dendritic cells. This antibody, conjugated with FITC for fluorescence detection, specifically targets the CD11c protein found on the surface of dendritic cells. Dendritic cells play a crucial role in initiating and regulating immune responses, making this antibody essential for studying immune cell function and interactions. With high reactivity towards human samples, this CD11c antibody is validated for use in various applications such as flow cytometry and immunofluorescence.
By binding to CD11c, researchers can accurately detect and analyze dendritic cells in different experimental settings, paving the way for insights into immune responses, antigen presentation, and immune cell dynamics. The CD11c Monoclonal Antibody (FITC Conjugated) (BU15) is a valuable tool for investigations in immunology, vaccine development, and infectious diseases. With its ability to specifically target CD11c-expressing cells, this antibody provides a reliable means of exploring dendritic cell biology and its role in immune-mediated processes.

Background:
CD11c is a 145-150 kD type I transmembrane glycoprotein also known as integrin αX and CR4. CD11c non-covalently associates with integrin β2 (CD18) and is expressed on monocytes/macrophages, dendritic cells, granulocytes, NK cells, and subsets of T and B cells. CD11c has been reported to play a role in adhesion and CTL killing through its interactions with fibrinogen, CD54, and iC3b.
