The Human CD11b Monoclonal Antibody (PerCP-Cyanine5.5 Conjugated, ICRF44) is a valuable tool for researchers studying CD11b, a surface marker found on various immune cells, particularly monocytes and macrophages. This monoclonal antibody, conjugated with PerCP-Cyanine5.5, provides excellent reactivity with human samples, making it suitable for flow cytometry applications.CD11b, also known as integrin alpha M, is involved in cell adhesion and migration, playing a crucial role in immune response and inflammation. By targeting CD11b with this antibody, researchers can identify and analyze CD11b-expressing cells in complex samples, aiding in the study of immune cell populations and their functions. The ICRF44 antibody specifically recognizes the CD11b protein, allowing for precise detection and quantification of this important cell surface marker.
Its conjugation with PerCP-Cyanine5.5 enables multi-color flow cytometry experiments, facilitating comprehensive immunophenotyping and characterization of immune cell subsets. The Human CD11b Monoclonal Antibody (PerCP-Cyanine5.5 Conjugated, ICRF44) is a reliable tool for immunologists, cell biologists, and researchers interested in understanding the role of CD11b-expressing cells in immunity, inflammation, and various disease processes. By enabling accurate identification and analysis of CD11b-positive cells, this antibody contributes to advancing research in immunology, inflammatory disorders, and related fields.
Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by flow cytometric analysis. The amount of the reagent is suggested to be used 5 µL of antibody per test (million cells in 100 µL staining volume or per 100 µL of whole blood). Please check your vial before the experiment. Since applications vary, the appropriate dilutions must be determined for individual use.

Background:
CD11b is a 165-170 kD type I transmembrane glycoprotein also known as αMintegrin, Mac-1, CR3, and C3biR. CD11b non-covalently associates with integrin β2(CD18) and is expressed on granulocytes, monocytes/macrophages, dendritic cells, NK cells, and subsets of T and B cells. CD11b/CD18 is critical for the transendothelial migration of monocytes and neutrophils. It is also involved in granulocyte adhesion, phagocytosis, and neutrophil activation. CD11b/CD18 interacts with ICAM-1 (CD54), ICAM-2 (CD102), ICAM-4, CD14, CD23, heparin, iC3b, fibrinogen, and factor X.
