The Human CD11a Monoclonal Antibody (AF647-conjugated, TS1/22) is a powerful tool for researchers investigating CD11a, a key integrin involved in cell adhesion and migration processes. This monoclonal antibody, specifically designed for use in human samples, is conjugated with AF647 for easy detection and visualization in flow cytometry and immunofluorescence applications.CD11a, also known as integrin alpha L, plays a crucial role in mediating interactions between leukocytes and endothelial cells, contributing to immune responses and inflammatory processes. By targeting CD11a, researchers can gain insights into the mechanisms underlying immune cell activation, migration, and tissue infiltration.
This antibody enables precise detection and analysis of CD11a expression in various cell populations, offering valuable information for studies in immunology, inflammation, and autoimmune diseases. With its high specificity and sensitivity, the Human CD11a Monoclonal Antibody (AF647-conjugated, TS1/22) from AssayGenie provides researchers with a reliable tool for investigating the functional roles of CD11a in health and disease. Unlock the potential of integrin biology with this versatile antibody for your research needs.
Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by flow cytometric analysis. The amount of the reagent is suggested to be used 5 µL of antibody per test (million cells in 100 µL staining volume or per 100 µL of whole blood). Please check your vial before the experiment. Since applications vary, the appropriate dilutions must be determined for individual use.

Background:
CD11a is a 170-180 kD type I transmembrane glycoprotein also known as LFA-1α chain and integrin αL subunit. CD11a non-covalently associates with integrin β2 (CD18) to form LFA-1. It is expressed on all leukocytes, including B and T lymphocytes, monocytes, macrophages, neutrophils, basophils and eosinophils. It is absent on non-hematopoietic tissues and platelets. CD11a plays a central role in leukocyte cell-cell interactions and is important in lymphocyte costimulation. CD11a/CD18 binds to ICAM-1 (CD54), ICAM-2 (CD102), and ICAM-3 (CD50).
