Human Catechol-O-Methyltransferase (COMT) ELISA Kit
The Human Catechol O-Methyltransferase (COMT) ELISA Kit is a powerful tool for detecting and quantifying COMT levels in human biological samples. COMT is an important enzyme involved in the breakdown of catecholamines, neurotransmitters that play a key role in regulating mood, cognition, and stress response. This ELISA kit offers high sensitivity and specificity, providing accurate and reliable results for researchers studying the role of COMT in various diseases and conditions such as Parkinson's disease, schizophrenia, and substance abuse.
By measuring COMT levels in serum, plasma, or cell culture supernatants, researchers can gain valuable insights into the mechanisms underlying these disorders and potentially identify new therapeutic targets.Overall, the Human COMT ELISA Kit is a valuable tool for advancing our understanding of catecholamine metabolism and its implications for human health. Its ease of use and robust performance make it an essential addition to any laboratory studying neurotransmitter function and related diseases.

Intra-assay Precision:
Intra-Assay: CV <10%. 3 samples with low, middle and high level the index were tested 20 times on one plate, respectively.
Inter-assay Precision:
Inter-Assay: CV <12%. 3 samples with low, middle and high level the index were tested on 3 different plates, 8 replicates in each plate.
Stability:
The stability of ELISA kit is determined by the loss rate of activity. The loss rate of this kit is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage conditions. Note: To minimize unnecessary influences on the performance, operation procedures and lab conditions, especially room temperature, air humidity and incubator temperatures should be strictly regulated. It is also strongly suggested that the whole assay is performed by the same experimenter from the beginning to the end.
