Adipocyte plasma membrane-associated protein, also known as APMAP, is a memberof the strictosidine synthase family. APMAPexhibits strong arylesterase activity with beta-naphthyl acetate in addition tophenyl acetate and takes part in adipocyte differentiation.
APMAP Human Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 378 amino acids (62-416 a.a) and having a molecular mass of 42.2kDa.APMAP is fused to a 23 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
UniProt Protein Function: | APMAP: a single-pass type II membrane protein that may play a role in adipocyte differentiation. Belongs to the strictosidine synthase family. |
