The Human Alpha1-AT (Alpha-1 Antitrypsin) CLIA Kit is a highly sensitive and specific assay designed for the quantitative detection of Alpha-1 Antitrypsin levels in human serum, plasma, and cell culture supernatants. This kit provides accurate and reproducible results, making it an ideal tool for research applications in the fields of pulmonary diseases, liver disorders, and inflammation.Alpha-1 Antitrypsin is a key protein that plays a crucial role in preventing tissue damage by inhibiting enzymes that can break down proteins in the body.
Deficiencies in Alpha-1 Antitrypsin have been linked to various health conditions, including emphysema, liver cirrhosis, and inflammatory diseases.By accurately measuring Alpha-1 Antitrypsin levels, researchers can better understand the mechanisms underlying these diseases and develop targeted therapies. The Human Alpha1-AT CLIA Kit offers a reliable and efficient way to study Alpha-1 Antitrypsin levels and its implications in various pathologies.

This CLIA kit uses the Sandwich-CLIA principle. The micro CLIA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Human α1-AT. Standards or samples are added to the micro CLIA plate wells and combined with the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for Human α1-AT and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate are added successively to each micro plate well and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain Human α1-AT, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate will appear fluorescence. The Relative light unit (RLU) value is measured by the Chemiluminescence immunoassay analyzer. The RLU value is positively associated with the concentration of Human α1-AT. You can calculate the concentration of Human α1-AT in the samples by comparing the RLU value of the samples to the standard curve.
