Proteasomal ubiquitin receptor ADRM1 (ADRM1) functions as a proteasomal ubiquitin receptor. ADRM1 is an integral plasma membrane protein which promotes cell adhesion. ADRM1 is assumed to undergo O-linked glycosylation. ADRM1 employs the deubiquitinating enzyme UCHL5 at the 26S proteasome and promotes its activity.

ADRM1 Human Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 431 amino acids (1-407 a.a) and having a molecular mass of 44.7kDa.ADRM1 is fused to a 24 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.

NCBI Summary:This gene encodes a member of the adhesion regulating molecule 1 protein family. The encoded protein is a component of the proteasome where it acts as a ubiquitin receptor and recruits the deubiquitinating enzyme, ubiquitin carboxyl-terminal hydrolase L5. Increased levels of the encoded protein are associated with increased cell adhesion, which is likely an indirect effect of this intracellular protein.
