The Human ADH (Antidiuretic Hormone) ELISA Kit is specifically designed for the precise quantification of ADH levels in human serum, plasma, and cell culture supernatants. This kit is renowned for its exceptional sensitivity and specificity, ensuring accurate and consistent results, thereby making it an invaluable tool for various research applications.ADH, also known as vasopressin, is a vital hormone that regulates water balance in the body by controlling the reabsorption of water in the kidneys. Imbalances in ADH levels can lead to disorders such as diabetes insipidus and syndrome of inappropriate antidiuretic hormone secretion (SIADH).
Therefore, measuring ADH levels is crucial for understanding and managing these conditions. With its advanced technology and user-friendly format, the Human ADH ELISA Kit is an essential resource for researchers studying fluid balance disorders, renal function, and other physiological processes influenced by ADH. Trust in this kit to deliver precise and reliable results that will advance your understanding of ADH-related pathways and enhance your research endeavors.

This ELISA kit uses the Competitive-ELISA principle. The micro ELISA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with ADH. During the reaction, ADH in the sample or standard competes with a fixed amount of ADH on the solid phase supporter for sites on the Biotinylated Detection Ab specific to ADH. Excess conjugate and unbound sample or standard are washed away, and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate are added to each micro plate well and incubated. Then a TMB substrate solution is added to each well. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of stop solution and the color turns from blue to yellow. The optical density (OD) is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 nm ± 2 nm. The concentration of ADH in tested samples can be calculated by comparing the OD of the samples to the standard curve.
