Human 12-LO (Arachidonate 12-Lipoxygenase) CLIA Kit
The Human 12-LO (Arachidonate 12-Lipoxygenase) CLIA Kit is a highly sensitive and specific assay designed for the accurate detection of 12-lipoxygenase levels in human samples such as serum, plasma, and cell culture supernatants. This kit offers reliable and reproducible results, making it suitable for a variety of research applications.12-lipoxygenase is an enzyme that plays a crucial role in the metabolism of arachidonic acid, contributing to the production of various bioactive lipids involved in inflammation and immune responses.
Dysregulation of 12-lipoxygenase has been implicated in various diseases such as cancer, inflammatory disorders, and cardiovascular diseases, making it a valuable biomarker for studying these conditions and developing potential therapeutic interventions. With its advanced technology and high performance, the Human 12-LO CLIA Kit from Assay Genie provides researchers with a powerful tool for investigating the role of 12-lipoxygenase in health and disease.

This CLIA kit uses the Sandwich-CLIA principle. The micro CLIA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Human 12-LO. Standards or samples are added to the micro CLIA plate wells and combined with the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for Human 12-LO and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate are added successively to each micro plate well and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain Human 12-LO, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate will appear fluorescence. The Relative light unit (RLU) value is measured by the Chemiluminescence immunoassay analyzer. The RLU value is positively associated with the concentration of Human 12-LO. You can calculate the concentration of Human 12-LO in the samples by comparing the RLU value of the samples to the standard curve.
