The CR (Creatinine) ELISA Kit from Assay Genie is specifically designed for the quantitative measurement of creatinine levels in human serum, urine, and cell culture supernatants. This kit offers high sensitivity and specificity, ensuring accurate and reproducible results that are essential for various research applications.Creatinine is a waste product produced by muscles and filtered out of the blood by the kidneys. Elevated levels of creatinine in the blood or urine can indicate kidney dysfunction or other health issues.
This ELISA kit provides researchers with a valuable tool for studying kidney function, monitoring renal diseases, and evaluating the effects of potential treatments.Whether you are studying renal function, monitoring patients with kidney disease, or investigating novel therapeutic strategies, the CR (Creatinine) ELISA Kit from Assay Genie is a reliable and efficient solution for accurate creatinine detection.

This ELISA kit uses the Competitive-ELISA principle. The micro ELISA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with Cr. During the reaction, Cr in the sample or standard competes with a fixed amount of Cr on the solid phase supporter for sites on the Biotinylated Detection Ab specific to Cr. Excess conjugate and unbound sample or standard are washed away, and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate are added to each micro plate well and incubated. Then a TMB substrate solution is added to each well. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of stop solution and the color turns from blue to yellow. The optical density (OD) is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 nm ± 2 nm. The concentration of Cr in tested samples can be calculated by comparing the OD of the samples to the standard curve.
