The CAMP (Cathelicidin Antimicrobial Peptide) ELISA Kit is a valuable tool for researchers looking to accurately measure levels of CAMP in various biological samples. This kit offers exceptional sensitivity and specificity, allowing for precise and reliable results for a variety of applications.CAMP is an important component of the innate immune system, playing a key role in defense against microbial pathogens. Its levels have been linked to various inflammatory and infectious diseases, making it a valuable biomarker for studying immune responses and developing new therapeutic strategies.
With easy-to-follow instructions and quick assay times, the CAMP ELISA Kit from Assay Genie is an indispensable resource for researchers working in immunology, infectious diseases, and antimicrobial research. Order yours today and enhance your research efforts with accurate measurements of CAMP levels.
This ELISA kit uses the Competitive-ELISA principle. The micro ELISA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with cAMP. During the reaction, cAMP in the sample or standard competes with a fixed amount of cAMP on the solid phase supporter for sites on the Biotinylated Detection Ab specific to cAMP. Excess conjugate and unbound sample or standard are washed away, and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate are added to each micro plate well and incubated. Then a TMB substrate solution is added to each well. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of stop solution and the color turns from blue to yellow. The optical density (OD) is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 nm ± 2 nm. The concentration of cAMP in tested samples can be calculated by comparing the OD of the samples to the standard curve.
